At Marie Bailey we interview every candidate personally in a face to face manner; this enables us to gain a full picture of the candidate. Not just their work experience but about their personal interests, their career goals, their life outside of work, their academic achievements (university and earlier school life). We feel this is paramount to understand as much as we can about the person to get the best personality for you.

We pride ourselves on providing a full service to the client which includes:

  • Visiting your premises to gain a good understanding of your organisation and of the personality fit. This also helps us to describe the company to the candidate. Recent studies show that if you get this personality fit right the person will stay for longer in the organisation, therefore potentially saving you time and money.
  • Taking note of a detailed job description
  • Job shadows if required to gain full understanding of the role
  • Advertising positions on your behalf
  • Handling all responses from adverts
  • Liaise with the Training Centre about suitable candidates
  • Source and speak to suitable candidates in detail about your position and company
  • Provide related training for your existing staff if needed
  • Interview all candidates face to face
  • Check legal documents and references when required
  • Shortlist CVs and present these to you the Client
  • Give a full, in depth personality profile
  • Answer any questions from either the client or candidate
  • Arrange interviews on your behalf
  • Handle feedback, make job offers and also deal with those unsuccessful
  • Support and advise candidates through handing in their notice
  • Coordinate start dates
  • Deal with all salary and package negotiations
